Loot Crate Review October 2014

I just spent $17.67 on 'Fear'!  It's only fitting that Loot Crate go with the theme, Fear, for the month of October.  Monthly crates are $19.37, but you can purchase long-term plans that lower your monthly cost.

Loot Crate Magazine Issue 15 ~ The blur isn't from my camera, it's a 3D image that's enhanced with the use of 3D glasses.  Great interview with Robert Kirkman inside.

Candy & Curse Credit ~ Haha, I really think some people actually 'fear' sour candy!  Nice selection.    On the back of the Curse card is a code to unlock Thanatos & a Jack the Reaper Skin for the PC game, SMITE.

Loot Crate Pin ~ I love collecting these!  Our lanyard from February's box is almost full.  Hopefully we'll get a new lanyard in 2015 for pin collecting.

Slashes & Bites Temporary Tattoos ~ Ryker loves temporary tattoos!  These are Loot Crate branded and feature bite marks from vampires, zombies, and werewolves.

How to Survive a Sharknado Book ~ This book could save your life!  It provides vital information about how to survive unnatural disasters and attacks from monsters.  Possible encounters with redneck gators, the mothman, and arachnoquakes could end badly for those without this book.

Sledgesaw Hammer Pen ~ This is a great replica of the sledgesaw from Dead Rising 3.  Capcom has taken this scary combo one step further by crafting it as a pen.  Imagine using this bad boy at work while you fill out a disciplinary write-up.

The Walking Dead Comic Book, Issue 132 ~ Loot Crate has landed another variant cover, this time on The Walking Dead.  Charlie Adlard created this over.  Hmmm, even Loot Crate subscribers could turn.

"Oh, Brother" Art Print ~ Isn't this fantastic?  Why yes, yes it is.  I'm one of the many Daryl Dixon fans and love this inclusion in the crate.  I'd like to see JSalvador's work on t-shirts.  His characterizations are emotionally humorous.  You can purchase this print and many others in his Etsy store.

Death by Kitten T-Shirt ~ This decade belongs to the cats.  If you don't have a cat shirt in your closet, then you are out of style.  A group of cats is called a 'clowder' and this clowder is down right scary!  My favorite Loot Crate shirt of 2014.

My faves this month were the shirt and JSalvador print.  I also really liked the sledgesaw pen and found the Sharknado book to be quite hilarious.  The new boxes are great too!  What do you think of Loot Crate?
