Bulu Box Weight Loss Review April 2014

I must admit to being pleasantly surprised by Bulu Box Weight Loss.  I subscribed because of the great deal I got for a one-year subscription.  After receiving my first box last month, I have placed four more orders on Bulu's website!  I'm learning to live a healthier lifestyle because of this box.
Subscription Boxes

Information Card ~ I love having access to descriptions about the products I get.

WhiteShield
WhiteShield ~ I received three packets of WhiteShield.  This product neutralizes coffee's staining ability.  Not only does it protect your teeth from new stains, it removes existing stains with continued use.  You just pour 1 WhiteShield stick pack into one 12-14 oz. cup of coffee and stir until dissolved. WhiteShield does not alter the taste, color, consistency, or aroma of coffee.

Ridgecrest Migraine Relief
Ridgecrest Migraine Relief ~ The migraine relief pills were not on the information card, but I believe they are a replacement for the Thyroid Thrive pills.  Both are by Ridgecrest, but this product is a homeopathic remedy that is created from a vegan formula.  There are 6 capsules with herbs to soothe, comfort, and relax the mind and body.  Directions say to take 2 capsules at the first onset of symptoms and repeat every 3-4 hours as needed.

SHREDZ Fat Burner
SHREDZ Fat Burner ~ In this month's Bulu Box Weight Loss was a three-day supply of thermogenic fat burner capsules.  It is gluten free and delivers clean energy.  Ingredients include Choline, Vitamin B5, Caffeine, Green Tea Extract, and more.  Each pack contains two capsules: one with breakfast and one in the afternoon.

Swirl Green Tea
Swirl Green Tea ~ I'm drinking this right now!  I really like the peach flavor!  It is a subtle, refreshing taste.  This all natural green tea has no calories, sugar, or gluten.  Green tea provides a natural source of antioxidants.  These tea bags are designed for 16.9 fl oz bottles of water.  You just drop the bag in the water, shake, and steep for 10-30 minutes.

Kay's Naturals Honey Almond Cereal
Kay's Naturals Honey Almond Cereal ~ This cereal boasts 12g of protein and is gluten free.  Each serving helps you manage your weight and build lean muscle.  There are 120 calories and 4g fiber per 34 gram serving.  It tastes really good and has a natural sweet flavor.  The little O's are light and airy, not hard at all.

Rainbow Light PMS Relief
Rainbow Light PMS Relief ~ If these little tablets work, then this Bulu Box is definitely worth its weight in gold!  This is a herbal supplement with ingredients that support hormone balancing and positive mood!  It has Vitamin B-6, Chromium, L-Theanine, California Poppy extract, and other natural ingredients.  Rainbow Light's PMS Relief supports a healthy mood, menstrual regulation, muscular relaxation, and good digestion.  It also relieves cramping, fatigue, water retention, and sugar cravings.  Eureka!

Bulu Box Weight Loss also included two informational cards: Booya Fitness and Pea Pod Nutrition and Lactation Support.

Booya Fitness is an exercise website that features 7 new workout videos each month.  Workouts combine challenging and unique movements that stimulate different muscle groups in 30 minutes or less.  The monthly cost is $9.99 or $99 a year.

Pea Pod Nutrition and Lactation Support provides nutrition and lactation education, counseling, and support that empowers parents to help nourish their children.  More recently, Pea Pod Nutrition and Lactation Support has evolved to provide one-on-one nutrition services for vegans and vegetarians.  Pea Pod offers nutrition consultation for weight management, anemia, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis, Celiac's disease, food allergies, food sensitivities, and sports nutrition.

Even though I bought this subscription because I got a good deal, I LOVE Bulu Box!  I'm really enjoying learning about the different health/weight management products out there.

iDiscoverBox Review April 2014

This month I got a stylus and two cases from iDiscoverBox!  For $10 a month, I love this subscription service!
Subscription Boxes
For some odd reason, I keep getting the same "phone tip" card.  This is the third month in a row I have received the S-Pen tip.

Stylus ~ This is a basic stylus without the ballpoint pen option.  It is lightweight and works well on my phone.

Galaxy Note 3 CaseSamsung Galaxy Note 3 Case
Black Kickstand Case ~ This is a sturdy, hard shell case with a portrait oriented kickstand.

Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Phone Shell
Transparent Purple Rubber Phone Shell ~ I'm not sure how well this shell will protect my phone, but I love it!  It doesn't give my phone that bulky feel that most cases do.  It's also very easy to put on and take off.

Cell Phone Accessories
I'm really enjoying changing phone cases every month.  iDiscoverBox is just so practical for lengthening the life of your cell phone.

Nerd Block Review April 2014

Could Nerd Block be excited about next month's release of The Amazing Spiderman 2?  The t-shirt design for this month's box is a bright, fun print.  My son also really liked the Kre-o Transformers.
Subscription Boxes

Shirt Punch
T-Shirt ($10) ~ Yum!  Nothing sounds more delicious than Spider Bites!  This is a fun shirt that is very colorful and bright.  Great for any cereal-loving super hero fan!  I believe these shirts come from ShirtPunch.

Avengers Grab BagsAvengers Grab Bags
Avengers Grab Zags ($3.25) ~ Oh my Norse god!  My son's surprise toy was a Thor mini skateboard.  No complaints from this mom!

Bravest Warriors Danny Vasquez Bendie FigureBravest Warriors Danny Vasquez Bendie Figure
Bravest Warriors Danny Vasquez Bendie Figure ($8.36) ~ Danny stands 5" tall, eyebrows and all. He is bendable and holds his shape.

Rabbids Travel in TimeRabbids Travel in Time
Rabbids Travel in Time ~ This is a Raving Rabbid from the medieval time period.  She is one of eight collectible figurines.

Predator Scalers by NecaPredator Scalers by Neca
Predator Scalers by Neca ($9.90) ~ How unique is this item!  Instead of a traditional figurine, Neca has created an awesome line of figures that "scale" random cords.  They can be attached to any type of basic cord, from microphones to ear buds.  My son got the Jungle Hunter from Predator.

April's Nerd Block was absolutely worth the $19.99 (plus s&h)!  Hopefully our weather will stay warm enough to enjoy the t-shirt!  The prices I listed were found on Amazon and are not absolute.

Ipsy Review April 2014

This month's Ipsy is already on my face!  From the Urban Decay eyeliner to the Dr. Brandt Microdermabrasion, everything is awesome!  The theme for the month is "Beauty Rocks"!
Subscription Boxes

Discounts include 20% off Dr. Brandt's microderm abrasion and 50% off any purchase from Elizabeth Mott.  Being an Ipsy subscriber definitely has its perks!

My bag is a dark purple nylon with a picture of a vinyl record on a turntable.  Very cute for teenagers!

Starlooks Luscious Longwear Lip Pencil

Starlooks Luscious Longwear Lip Pencil
Starlooks Luscious Longwear Lip Pencil ~ This is a subtle lip pencil in the shade, Nude.  It's very smooth and easily glides on.  It has a matte finish and can be worn alone or with lipstick.  The Kiss-Off Resistant polymer offers 8 hours of wear.

Dr. Brandt Microdermabrasion
Dr. Brandt Microdermabrasion ~ I love a good skin exfoliant!  A little bit of this cream goes a long way.  It gently sweeps away dead skin cells in just a matter of minutes.  Other benefits include softer skin texture, better absorption of skincare products, and the reduction of fine lines, acne marks, and skin discoloration.  It's safe to use for all skin types.  My skin definitely felt softer after use!

pop! goes the shadow Champagne by Elizabeth Mott
pop! goes the shadow by Elizabeth Mott ~ This creamy, easy to blend eye color came in Champagne.  This shade is so universal and looks good on all skin tones.  It feels soft and has a terrific shimmer to it!  I think it's a full-sized product, which should last a long time.

Urban Decay 24/7 Velvet Glide-On Eye Pencil
Urban Decay 24/7 Velvet Glide-On Eye Pencil ~ Urban Decay has created a wonderful eye pencil that is soft and easy to apply, but has long-lasting power.  The name says it all!  This isn't my first Urban Decay eyeliner, and won't be my last!  This is definitely a staple in my makeup bag.

Coastal Scents Medium Shadow Brush
Coastal Scents Medium Shadow Brush ~ What a great accessory to complement my new Elizabeth Mott eyeshadow!  This brush is made from high quality natural hair.  It's thick and holds the makeup well.  This is a soft brush that blends color well.

Monthly Subscription Box
Beauty Rocks - The shadow, lip pencil, and eyeliner make the perfect combination for a night out rockin' the town.  Then follow it up with an application of Dr. Brandt's Microdermabrasion to cover up all that hard rockin'.  Looking forward to May's Ipsy bag!

Kawaii Monthly Review April 2014

I'm starting to think that all things Kawaii are FUN!!!  Kawaii Monthly is a subscription service from Oyatsu Cafe for $18.99.  Shipping is free and each box contains 5 kawaii themed items.
Oyatsu CafeOyatsu Cafe

Tsubaki Oil Comb
Tsubaki Oil Comb ~ This is a folding comb infused with tsubaki oil or camellia oil.  The oil is nutrient rich and commonly used on hair in Japan.  The oil adds shine to hair.

Little Twin Stars Wall PocketLittle Twin Stars Wall Pocket
Little Twin Stars Wall Pocket ~ This is a three pocket plastic organizer.  It's a cute decoration for any room and is ideal for holding origami paper and Kawaii stationery!  I love it when boxes come with really useful items.

Rilakkuma Reel Key Chain
Rilakkuma Reel Key Chain ~ One can never have too much Rilakkuma!  This adorable bear graces the front of this extendable keychain.

Rilakkuma Sembei
Rilakkuma Sembei ~ Sembei are traditional Japanese rice crackers.  These crackers are shaped like Rilakkuma's head.  I love how Kawaii Monthly always includes a unique snack.

Origami Paper Set
Origami Paper Set ~ This is an origami paper pack with 16 sheets.  They are designed with bright feminine flowers.  I downloaded the Origami Kids app for Android so my daughter can use the papers.

There seems to be a pattern with the Kawaii Monthly boxes.  We always receive a beauty item, a food item, a stationery item, and several fun items.  I must admit to absolutely loving the beauty items each month!

Oyatsu Box Review April 2014

Just received my 3rd OyatsuBox today!  It's such a unique box that the whole family enjoys.  We have a blast "taste testing" everything inside.  The box contained 11 Japanese candies and snacks.
Oyatsu Cafe

TOPPO Strawberry Cake
Strawberry Cake TOPPO ~ Yum!  These taste great!  They are described as an "inside-out Pocky".  The inside is a strawberry shortcake flavored chocolate.  The chocolate is surrounded by a pretzel layer.  The outside pretzel isn't salted and tastes good.

One Piece NW3 Collector's Card & Gum
One Piece NW3 Collector's Card & Gum ~ Inside are two pieces of gum and 2 special edition cards.  The cards are really neat and have a sparkly prismatic look one one side.  The back side is numbered and illustrated as well.

Amaika San-Taro
Amaika San-Taro ~ This Japanese snack is made of a strip of cod paste marinated in a hearty layer of sweet squid flavor.  It's a popular snack food in Japan and can be found throughout the country.  The Amaika brand version is twice the size as other regular editions.  I'm not brave enough to try this one, but I can always find students adventurous enough to sample!

Umaibo
Umaibo ~ This month's flavors are Natto and Teriyaki Burger.  From what I can find, Natto is fermented soybeans.  It has a very strong smell and taste!  The teriyaki burger Umaibo tastes good, but has a strong after taste!

Babystar Ramen Bites Yaki Soba
Babystar Ramen Bites Yaki Soba ~ Babystar brand noodles have been around since 1959.  This bag has Yaki Soba flavored noodles.  They look like a dried chow mein.

Hi-Chew Litchee
Litchee Hi-Chew ~ This is a limited edition Hi-Chew flavored like lychee.  This tropical fruit grows in Asia and makes a great flavoring for candy.  The Hi-Chew candies are definitely one of my favorites in the box!

Plum Somen
Plum Somen ~ I never knew noodles could be prepared like this!  This package contains noodles with a unique, tasty sour plum flavor.  Definitely a different experience!

Puku Puku Tai
Puku Puku Tai ~ Inside is the candy version of Taiyaki.  Taiyaki is a fish-shaped hot cake traditionally filled with red bean paste.  This candy version is a fish-shaped wafer filled with a puffy chocolate.  My husband and I really enjoyed this!

Ume Mints
Ume Mints ~ These were also a big hit with the family.  Ume is a sour plum flavor.  I liked this flavor much better than the Plum Somen.  Apparently these mints are very popular among the older generation.  My 9 year old loves them too!

Soy Butamen
Soy Butamen ~ Butamen is the name of the pig mascot on this container.  Inside are soy noodles that are sold in dagashi (candy) stores all over rural Japan.  It also came with a small plastic fork.  To fix, add around 180ml of hot water, cover and wait for 3 minutes.  Do NOT microwave!

Taro Kyabetsu
Taro Kyabetsu ~ Kyabetsu means cabbage, but there is no cabbage in this snack!  The bag is filled with corn pugs infused with bits of nori (dried seaweed).  It's also flavored with Okonomiyaki sauce, which seems like a thick worcestershire sauce.  I'll make my husband try these because I'm not a big fan of seaweed.

Oyatsu Cafe
OyastuBox is $25 a month and ships for free on the first of each month.  The shipping takes 10 - 14 days from Chiba Japan.  I think this box is so much fun!  OyatsuBox is a division of Oyatsu Cafe.  If you like the snacks in the box, you can order most of them from Oyatsu Cafe.  My kids really enjoy learning about the different types of Japanese candy and snacks.  I'm considering ordering the Mexican Candy Box for them too.
