Nerd Block Classic Review March 2015

Simon Pegg curated the March Nerd Block Classic, which was themed "Simon Says".  I'm a little surprised there's no Star Trek item inside, but the box is still great.

Little Lace Box Review March 2014

I can't believe it's the 23rd of March and I haven't written about any of my March boxes.  This has been a busy month, but I'm taking time out to show you my absolute favorite subscription - Little Lace Box.  I believe the March theme is "Here Comes the Sun", which celebrates our triumph over the harsh winter.  This box wakes us up and leads us into spring with items to nourish our mind, body, and soul.
I was a little sad to see that several people complained about the various items in past boxes.  I personally love the earrings these girls curate.  If you really don't like personal grooming (cleansing/moisturizing), smelling nice, and looking nice (a variety of jewelry options), then stop getting this box.  I think LLB celebrates the indulgences that make us feel great, strong, and feminine.  I don't want Brianna, Taylor, and Aubrey to stop sending items like this.  When I do get things that aren't my fancy, I don't like to complain about it because I realize that's a risk with subscription boxes.  Honestly, I enjoy sharing the things I don't like with those who do appreciate them.  It's a great feeling to see someone light up because you thought of them.

Quarterly Co. Wil Wheaton Box Review March 2015 #WIL01

We're going to take a trip back to the 70's for this review!  I bring you Wil Wheaton's first curation for Quarterly Co.  His four boxes for 2015 will reflect his life loves and interests through the decades: the 70's, 80's, 90's, and 00's.
Wil's letter doesn't follow the typical Quarterly format, but that's really not surprising.  He does a wonderful job explaining each addition.

Pokecrate Review February 2015

Have you heard of Pokecrate?  It's a subscription box filled with everything Pokemon.  I subscribed to this because both of my kids are currently going through a Pokemon phase.
Pokecrate is $15.99, plus $4 shipping and tax.  A wearable or plush is guaranteed in every crate.  I received a Pokecrate T-shirt.  The design came from the Pokecrate T-shirt contest in January.  This is the 2nd place winner by @TootSoup.

Quarterly Co. GQ Box Review March 2015 #GQQ03

My #GQQ03 made it through snowmageddon!  GQ's third Quarterly box helps subscribers execute the perfect romantic night in.  I think of it more as an "impress the ladies" box, but it is well curated and everything ties well to the theme.

Little Lace Box Review February 2015

Time to review my favorite monthly box!  I received this on the 28th, but have been really busy.  Sorry for the late post.  Subscribing to Little Lace Box is like getting a boutique experience shipped to your door each month.
The February theme was "The lovers, the dreamers, and you" via the Rainbow Connection.  I really liked this box despite the hurdles LLB had to overcome (dockworker strike, snow, & crazy demand).

Subscriptions are currently not open, but like them on Facebook to stay updated on subscription openings.  My box contained four items and one bonus inclusion.  Even if you do not have a subscription, you can purchase these things from the LLB online store.  I highly recommend the Beekman 1802 Hot Fudge.

Hula Bliss Goat Milk Lotion
Hula Bliss Goat Milk Lotion ~ Our bonus item comes from Dancin' Goat Skin Care.  I believe I will drop this in my purse so I can stay moisturized while on the go.  This product is paraben and sulfate free.  It's made with goat milk and coconut oil.  I really like the fragrance, which is a mixture of lavender, rosemary, and eucalyptus.

P. Press Papers Pink Arrow Note Card
Pink Arrow Stationary ~ ($12.99)  This is a set of flat note cards from P. Press Papers.  Cupid himself would approve of this design!  The simplistic pink arrow is eye appealing yet allows the reader to focus on the writer's message.

Original Goat Milk Hot Fudge by Beekman 1802
Original Goat Milk Hot Fudge by Beekman 1802 ~ ($12.99)  Oh my goodness!  This is an indulgent delight.  I want more!  I need more!  I shall have more!  When I'm not using my Beekman 1802 fruit spoon shove this in my mouth, I'm dipping pretzels in the sauce.

Beekman 1802 Iridescent Shimmer Bling Bath
Beekman 1802 Iridescent Shimmer Bling Bath ~ ($18.99)  I'm a shower person, but after reading the reviews for this product, I'm quite eager to try this out.  The salts have a refreshing scent and look so sparkly.

Whitley Designs Earrings
Earrings by Whitley Designs ~ ($54.99)  I love minimalistic jewelry!  This is a pair of oval-shaped silver hoops.  I like that they are lightweight and not too big.  The unique, hand crafted jewelry from Whitley Designs has been featured in several magazines.

I never knew goat's milk could be so luxurious.  I've tried drinking it before with my kindergarten students and thought it was horrible.  I'm so glad that there are other wonderful uses for goat's milk other than for drinking.  What are your thoughts on the February Little Lace Box?  Personally, I'd love to see a Beekman 1802 and Farm House Fresh item in every box!

1UP Box Review February 2015

 February's theme was "Apocalypse".

Loot Crate Review February 2015

Loot Crate is a subscription company that caters to those who love comics, video games, and the sci-fi genre.  Each month they announce a new theme and curate a box of great loot around that theme.  February 2015 brings us "Play", which celebrates the games we play.
Loot Crate Volume 19 takes a look at the history of game controllers.
