Gizmo Crate Review February 2014

Click this link to see July's box and get a discount code for 13% off your subscription!  The code is valid only for the month of August.

Good things come to those who wait.  Gizmo Crate was the first box I subscribed to for February and the last one I received.  There was a delay in shipping due to their efforts to feature a specific vendor for February.  The weather slowed down that vendor's shipment to Gizmo Crate.  But who cares - because it is finally here!!  Let's crack this highly anticipated baby open!

This is Gizmo Crate's launch box.  Each box will contain 4 - 6 awesome gadgets and foodie items.  This month there were five things inside.  The company originally started out as Your Crate, but changed its name to the catchier Gizmo Crate.  Instead of throwing away these boxes, they made the environmental decision to use the boxes.  Kudos!

First off is the description card.  All of the items are pictured and listed with the value of each.  This month's box is valued at $87.  I paid $29 for it using a coupon code.  Very happy with the value!

Krave Turkey Jerky
Krave Beef Jerky ($7) ~ YUM!  I've eaten half of this bag while typing this post.  Then my husband found it and we fought over the rest.  Awesome turkey jerky.  It is gluten free, contains no nitrites & artificial ingredients, and is low fat.  Unlike hard, dry jerky, this Krave Turkey Jerky is moist and easy on the teeth.  Gourmet healthy jerky?  Who knew!

Multipurpose Cable Clips
Multipurpose Cable Clips ($3) ~ These little buddies are going to keep me off the floor searching for dropped cables.  Very handy organizational tool to keep cables untangled and within reach.

iGlove
iGlove ($7) ~ This is a pair of black knit gloves designed for use on touch screen devices.  They are actually a good size.  It seems like most touch screen gloves are very small and thin.  These are thick and don't have that obvious finger tip.

Portable Backup Battery Charger
Portable Backup Battery Charger ($20) ~ This is a Power Bank external power tube for digital products.  It is compatible with most of the mobile phones and digital devices in the market.  This will be a great travel accessory.  I live in Kentucky and we have been hit hard this winter with numerous snow/ice storms and have lost electricity and water.  This little thing may come in very handy during our next power outage!

Portable Bluetooth Wireless Speaker
Portable Bluetooth Wireless Speaker ($50) ~ I'm taking this little power house to work with me.  It will have a coveted place on my desk.  Easy to operate and great sound!  For its small size, it can get extremely loud.  This high definition speaker has a five hour working time and a two hour charge time.  It comes with a USB cord for charging and an audio cable for direct connection.  It took no time at all to sync with my phone.

Overall Gizmo Crate was well worth the wait.  The great thing about this subscription box is that everything is useable, practical AND fun!  It's not filled with items that just sit around and collect dust or get thrown in a drawer.
