Loot Crate Review May 2015

There's always a great feeling when forces unite.  Loot Crate acknowledges some of the best teams in media with May's theme, Unite.

 Loot Crate Magazine Volume 22 ~ Inside this issue Ash Mahtani discusses the greatest comic teams and Boom! Studios gets interviewed.

 Loot Crate Collectible Pin ~ I believe there were two pin designs this month.  One is DC based and the other is Marvel based.  

 Avengers: Age of Ultron Car Decal ~ There are several Avengers items in this box.  It's only fitting because the Avengers: Age of Ultron released this month and they are the team of the moment.  I'm sure this will end up on a computer or tablet.

 Team Fortress 2 Button Set ~ Computer gamers are sure to love these!  My son just got a Steam account, so he'll have to check out Team Fortress 2.  These pins will help you show off your TF2 fandom.  I really like Balloonicorn!

 Bravest Warriors Tales from the Holo John #1 ~ This should be an entertaining read with 5 stories inside.  Loot Crate snagged another variant cover.  Do they have awesome connections, or what?

 Exclusive MAD Magazine Loot Crate Edition ~ Poor Alfred can't even begin to compare to Jason Momoa!  This edition of MAD has exclusive content just for Looters.

 Marvel Sneaker Laces ~ Ryker got the colorful laces.  They're 48" long and look great because they are covered in heroes.

 Rick and Morty Jigsaw Puzzle ~ Even though Ryker has never seen this show, he can still enjoy the puzzle.  It's 300 pieces and features a plethora of characters.

 Marvel Ice Cube Tray ~ This is a silicone ice tray.  It makes 8 ice cubes based on Marvel characters and icons.  The molds can also be used for candy!

 Green Ranger T-Shirt ~ This is another Loot Crate exclusive.  It's actually Power Rangers branded.    This shirt definitely fits in with the 'Unite' theme!

This was a pretty fun box for my son.  He's looking forward to putting the puzzle together and making ice!  

Fortune Cookie Soap 2015 Summer Soap Box Review

I have fallen in love with Fortune Cookie Soap.  They are a company that prides themselves in creating fun, safe, and unique bath and body products.  They have a quarterly box that ships each season.  This is my first subscription box with them.  My absolute favorite FCS scent is 'In the Loop', which smells like Froot Loops cereal.  

Lilee Review May 2015

Ipsy is a beauty subscription that highlights top makeup brands on a monthly basis.  Subscriptions are $10 a month and free shipping.  Every shipment includes a cute cosmetic bag.  This month, the bags had various sayings on them.

I love makeup and subscription boxes!  Therefore, Beauty Box 5 makes me so happy!  This box always contains 5 top-notch beauty products.

1Up Box is a newer geek box company.  It's only $18.92 and ships around the middle of the month.  This month's theme was "Hero".

Pokecrate Review April 2015

Pokecrate is a box dedicated solely to Pokemon.  Both of my kids are Pokemon lovers and they enjoy getting this box.  Pokecrate is $20.95 a month and arrives the following month.  The sticker below is the Pokecrate logo.

Quarterly Co. Kevin Rose Box Review April 2015 #KEV02

The tech lover in me had to subscribe to this box.  I just received the #KEV02 shipment from Quarterly Co. and Kevin Rose.  He referred to this box as having a personal hygiene theme, but there is also a twist of fun in it.

 This insert wasn't very descriptive, but Kevin did make a video explaining each item.

Comic Con Box Review April 2015

I was so excited to hear that Wizard World was launching a subscription box!  The Comic Con Box is full of collectibles and exclusives from popular franchises seen at comic con events.  I paid $29.99, plus $7 s&h for the box and was quite pleased with everything.  I've been to two Wizard World Comic Cons and loved them - this box is an extension of some of the awesome things you'd experience there.

 The box itself looks very exciting.

Quarterly Co. Nina Garcia Box Review #NGQ05 April 2015

Nina's 5th Quarterly Co. box has arrived!  The #NGQ05 is all about having a fabulous head of hair.    Nina's hair is one of the first things you notice about her, so I'm really excited to try all of these products.
