Comic Con Box Review April 2015

I was so excited to hear that Wizard World was launching a subscription box!  The Comic Con Box is full of collectibles and exclusives from popular franchises seen at comic con events.  I paid $29.99, plus $7 s&h for the box and was quite pleased with everything.  I've been to two Wizard World Comic Cons and loved them - this box is an extension of some of the awesome things you'd experience there.
The box itself looks very exciting.

Subscribers received a coupon code for a free two-week trial subscription to CONtv.

Toywiz $10 off $20 purchase coupon code.  This is a great deal!

I think each box varies a little with the contents, but all subscribers should have received the four featured items on the information card.  The back lets you know that if you order a 3-month Comic Con Box subscription, you will get a free exclusive Marvel Secret Wars comic book.

Zombie Gum ~ This is a novelty box of fruit gum with a zombie theme.  Inside are 8 pieces of yellow fruit-flavored gum.

The Zumbies Walking Thread Lucky Doll ~ This is a small yarn zombie doll that brings its owner some lucky juju.  I got Unfortunate Fred and he brings a wealth of riches.  I hope it works ;-)

K'Nex Plants vs. Zombies Figure ~ I was so addicted to this game last summer!  Inside the bag is a Plants vs. Zombies figure from the 2nd series by K'nex.  We got a mummified zombie with a traffic cone hat.

I Can Has Whitewalkerz? #WalkerKitty Print by Rob Prior ~ Nothing like a cute fluffy kitty who wants its own White Walker!  Rob Prior is an incredibly talented two-handed artist.  I think this print shows off his humorous side.

Funko Walking Dead Mystery Mini ~ We got a well-dressed zombie without blood splatters.

Wolverine Comic 001 ~ This is the full color variant cover created for Wizard World.  The artist is Greg Horn, who is phenomenal!  I have several Greg Horn prints and love them.  Wolverine is a favorite character in our house.

Funko Hello Kitty Figure ~ I like this addition to the box, because it's something my daughter can appreciate.  It's always my son who loves these boxes.  My daughter was happy to see this.

Assassin's Creed Lineage BluRay ~ I have NEVER received a BluRay disc in a box before!  I don't know how good this movie will actually be, but I have to admit I'm looking forward to watching it.  I think the Assassin's Creed games have some of the most beautiful graphics out there, especially with Italy as the backdrop.

The Running Dead T-Shirt ~ I love boxes that contain t-shirts.  I'm just waiting for the walkers to evolve into runners in future seasons.  Lol.  I may wear this to my next 5K!

In my opinion, the Comic Con Box had a great launch.  They do not have themes, but many of the items were zombie related.  This makes sense considering The Walking Dead actors seem to draw the largest crowds at Wizard World Comic Cons.  I'm definitely looking forward for future boxes, because Wizard World has some terrific relationships with celebrities, artists, and vendors.
