Nina's 5th Quarterly Co. box has arrived! The #NGQ05 is all about having a fabulous head of hair. Nina's hair is one of the first things you notice about her, so I'm really excited to try all of these products.
Redken's Pillow Proof Blow Dry Express Primer ~ ($16) This is a multi-purpose primer that reduces blow-drying time and protects against heat-based styling tools. It strengthens hair, up to 3x without weighing it down.
L'Oreal's Smooth Intense Ultimate Straight Perfecting Balm ~ ($7) I'm eager to see how well this works on my post-baby frizzy hair. I use a similar product from Bumble and Bumble and just ran out, so I will definitely be pairing this with the Pillow Proof Blow Dry Express Primer.
Extreme Length Sealer by Redken ~ ($13) This biotin-rich product strengthens the ends of your hair and seals split ends. It has a brush applicator that makes it easier to target split ends.
PrX Reparatives Intense Fortifying Masque from Frederic Fekkai ~ ($8) Apply this repair treatment once a week to restore smoothness and shine. It's infused with Argan extract and has a vanilla cream scent. For a salon experience, wrap your hair in a warm towel for 5-10 minutes before rinsing out product.
Shu Uemura Volume Maker ~ ($48) This was the #NGQ05 spoiler item. It's a powder that gives hair an instant root lift. It provides texture and body and has a precision brush applicator.
Serge Normant's Dream Big Instant Volumizing Spray ~ ($15) Wow! This is instant volume in a can! I just sprayed this in my hair and used my fingers to tousle it. Crazy impressed with the results! I like the texture it adds to my hair. I see myself splurging on this in the near future.
Elasticizer by Philip Kinglsey ~ ($28) I'm really excited to try this game changer! This is a pre-shampoo treatment that moisturizes the hair cuticle and conditions it so that it doesn't break or snap. I'm waking up early tomorrow to use this, and I expect to look like Audrey Hepburn. ;-)
Sachajuan's Hair Repair ~ ($16) This hair repair is created with Ocean Silk Technology. Valuable proteins and minerals are extracted from sea algae and combined with other tailor made active ingredients to give hair shine, volume, and moisture. I plan on using this Saturday while at Shaky Knees!
Living Proof Night Cap Overnight Perfector ($28) This is like night cream for your hair! This product is fast absorbing and pillow safe. Healthy hair molecules and amino acids keep hair soft, smooth, and shiny. Shampooing in the morning will not was out Night Cap - it lasts through several shampoos.
Carved Birch Wood Hairpin by Masterpeace ~ Once again, Nina has used her fashion connections to give her NGQ VIPs a unique, one-of-a-kind item. Evgenia Linovich is the designer behind Russian jewelry company, Masterpeace. This is a gorgeous handcrafted hair accessory and I can't wait to wear it!
Harry Josh Premium Oval Brush ~ ($50) I love, love, love this brush! It feels wonderful. It utilizes a blend of high quality boar's hair and nylon bristles. I'm so glad Nina went with a hair product theme for #NGQ05. Hair care is definitely one of my beauty weaknesses. I'm really looking forward to trying everything out. This Quarterly Co. box is one of my favorites.
