This month's Nerd Block celebrates the culminating nerd event of the year, San Diego Comic-Con! It also gets us ready for next month's blockbuster, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and gives us our Star Wars and zombie fix.

Star Wars Insider Magazine ~ Here is the August/September 2014 issue of the Star Wars Insider. There are two collectible covers, which I love the one we got because it features many of the original characters.
Nerf Zombie Strike Ricochet ~ What a fun item to include this month! Everyone loves a good Nerf gun! This shoots the flat discs, which whirl through the air extremely fast!
Comic-Con Episode IV: A Fan's Hope DVD with Exclusive Mini Figures ~ Wow, the value of this DVD is $27.66 on Amazon! Morgan Spurlock directed this film to explore the lives of five attendees at San Diego Comic-Con. We also got Stan Lee and Harry Knowles figurines.
Turtle Power T-Shirt ~ Now my son knows which shirt he wants to wear when we go see Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The design features the Turtle Van (Party Wagon) on a turtle shell background. I love how it highlights the turtles favorite food and denotes the year of their establishment!
I swear Nerd Block keeps getting better and better! They really know how to cater to the comic-con audience and those who are young at heart. This box is only $19.99 a month plus shipping. Well worth it!
