Little Lace Box Review September 2014

If you don't get this box, you are missing out!  Little Lace Box has been my favorite subscription box for the past two months!  I initially subscribed thinking it would be a beauty & accessory box, but it's soooo much more than that!  There's a coupon code at the bottom!

The information page is personalized with my name and is very eye appealing.  This month's theme focuses on home entertaining and embodies a Sassy and Spirited Soiree.  There are plenty of pictures, tips, and tricks to help subscribers host the ultimate cocktail party.  What's even better, you can order any of these products in the LLB Store!

Quarterly Co. Melissa Joulwan Box Review September 2014 #EAT01

I'm a paleo impostor!  I know very little about the paleo diet, but thought that Melissa Joulwan's Quarterly Co. box would be the perfect introduction.  #EAT01 contained 5 food items and a really nice kitchen tool.

#EAT01
Has the infographic replaced the traditional Quarterly curator letter?  I love this concept!  The front briefly explains each item in the box.

Walmart Beauty Box Review Fall 2014

Did you know Walmart has a seasonal subscription box?  Well, they do!  Released each season, the Walmart Beauty Box is packed with beauty products and samples for your age range.  The best thing is that you only pay $5 shipping for the box.  Since I've seen variations of the fall box, I'm assuming they're packaged by age like the website states.  I'm 37 if that helps as you read this.  I found all items online at www.walmart.com and listed the full-sized price from Walmart's website.

Gizmo Crate Review August 2014

No, I'm not late posting this.  I just received the August Gizmo Crate today, the 20th of September.  Apparently the company relocated this month to a larger warehouse and experienced a tragedy amongst the staff.  Let's hope they can get September's box out in ten days.

Beauty Box 5 Review September 2014

I always get something I LOVE in my Beauty Box 5!  This month is no exception.  At only $12 a month, $30 a quarter, or $99 a year, you have to get on board with this company.

#bb5fave
This month Beauty Box 5 acknowledges the balancing act that all great women must do.  No matter what you must balance, always make sure there is time for yourself.

Ipsy Review September 2014

Ipsy
It's the September Ipsy!  This month we are talking Street Style.  My bag contained goodies for my eyes, lips, face, and hands.

Quarterly Co. Unclutterer Review September 2014 #UCL05

I'm a sucker for a great Quarterly Co. box!  This is my first Unclutterer box and I'm really happy with it.  This subscription is $50 ever quarter, which included free shipping.

#UCL05
My #UCL05 contained one item.  However, this is a very essential item to have at home or in your car.  According to the letter, the writer experienced an infection which turned out to be very bothersome and expensive.  Had she taken the time to treat her wound at home, the infection would have been prevented.  Hence, the shipment of the Quarterly Co./Unclutterer exclusive Premium First Aid Kit!

Quarterly Co. Unclutterer September 2014
First Aid Kit ~ Everything you need for minor injury treatment at home!  This sturdy metal case has a handle that makes it convenient to transport.  Inside are bandages, gauze, compresses, eye patches, cold patches, tape, antibiotic cream, and more.

First Aid Kit
The contents of this kit are listed inside the lid.  Since I have no medical background, this is very nice to have.  There is also a wallet card that details a variety of first aid instructions.

Quarterly Co. Unclutterer September 2014
I find this kit to be well organized and very useful.  It definitely beats my cluttered shoebox of random, outdated first aid supplies!  Can't wait for my next Quarterly Co. box!

Kawaii Monthly Review September 2014

Our package from Chiba, Japan is here!  This may be our last Kawaii Monthly review.  My daughter no longer wants this box, so I will probably cancel her subscription.  Kawaii Monthly is $18.99 a month, shipping included.  There are always five items inside that reflect kawaii cuteness and beauty.

Kawaii Monthly
I love that Kawaii Monthly includes a description of each item.  This is so helpful, considering we aren't sure what a lot of the items are.

Kawaiiness Kawaii Box Review September 2014

We just can't get enough Kawaii at our house!  Our adorable box of goodies arrived today.  This package comes from www.gokawaiiness.com and is called the Kawaiiness Kawaii Box.  It's $20.00 with shipping included.  I've been very impressed with the shipping of this box.  So far, she has mailed at the beginning of the month and continues shipment throughout the month as orders come in.

This is not a recurring shipment.  You must order each month or buy a 2-month or 3-month plan.

Fruit-shape Mini Erasers
Cute Mini Erasers ~ These fruit-shaped mini erasers make mistakes fun.  Girls love using fun erasers at school.  I'm sure I'll have no problem finding someone to reward these to.

Rilakkuma Stickers
Rilakkuma Stickers ~ Rilakkuma is a popular kawaii character.  This set has two sheets of stickers just waiting to decorate notebooks and folders!

Vitamin Ballpen
Vitamin Ballpen ~ This is a fun novelty item.  It's shaped like a vitamin capsule but opens up to a retractable ballpoint pen!  Once retracted, it holds its shape well.  I think the cute face at the end of the pen will help make writing checks a little easier.

Hello Kitty Sanrio License Re-Ment
Hello Kitty Sanrio License Re-Ment ~ Re-ment is a Japanese toy company established in 1988.  They currently sell a line of miniature food, furniture, and animal figures, as well as cell phone charms, doll fashions, and magnets.  We got a cell phone charm.  It resembles a snow cone treat, but the ice is shaped like Hello Kitty's face.  Maybe we can use it as a zipper pull on Olivia's backpack.

Yan Yan
Yan Yan ~It's a treat from Meiji - Yan Yan choco-hazelnut biscuit snack.  This snack combines crispy cracker sticks with a smooth hazelnut-chocolate dip.

Glam Ponytail Holder ~ This is not your ordinary ponytail holder.  It's very sparkly and fun!  I think this color will look great in my daughter's hair!

Kawaii Leopard Bracelet
Kawaii Leopard Bracelet ~ I can't believe the last two Kawaiiness Kawaii boxes came with jewelry!  This is a simple cord bracelet with enough detail to dress up any wrist.

Bunny Plush Charm
Bunny Plush Charm ~ My daughter loves this and the jumbo squishy.  The eyes on the bunny are actually really cute and remind me of the La La Loopsy dolls.

Hello Kitty Sweets Cafe Jumbo Squishy
Hello Kitty Sweets Cafe Jumbo Squishy ~ Squishies are so much fun!  This one is shaped like Hello Kitty's head, but looks like a donut with sprinkles.  It feels extra squishy.

Go Kawaiiness
Comment your thoughts on this box below.  This is the 2nd month for the Kawaiiness Kawaii Box and I have been happy with both boxes.  We love squishies and snacks!

I purchased this month's box for $18.00.  It was on sale for Labor Day.

Little Lace Box Review August 2014

Ladies, get out your wallets - there's a new subscription service in town!  Little Lace Box hails from Kissimmee, FL and is packed full of luxurious designer items.  After seeing the August reviews of their launch box, I HAD to get this box.  I subscribed for a year and am very eager to watch this company grow.  Correction: I thought this was the September Little Lace Box, but this is actually the August box.  I signed up on the last day of August, therefore I was able to get the August box!  September's box will ship on the 22nd.
There is a coupon code at the end of this post!

The September box boasted five items from some wonderful designers and businesses.  I really like the detailed description of each product.

Enummi Skin Care
Enummi Skin Care ~ This is a sample skin care set from Enummi.  There are six samples that cleanse, tone, target, and moisturize your skin.  It's a precision-strength complexion recovery system for your face.  The complete, full-size set retails for $165.95.

The Sexiest Scent on The Planet. Ever. (IMHO)
The Sexiest Scent on The Planet. Ever. (IMHO) ~ Oh wow!  I have a strong dislike for perfume because my nose and head cannot handle floral scents.  This fragrance was made for people like me!  It's wonderful!  This is actually the base scent for another Sarah McCartney fragrance.  Luckily, they decided to bottle the base, which contains bergamot, vanilla, woods, musk, and ambergris.  Please Google "ambergris" for your reading enjoyment.  Sarah's fragrance company is called 4160 Tuesdays (if you live to be 80, you will encounter 4,160 Tuesdays in your life) and exclusively sells in the UK. I found two US distributors for this perfume - Little Lace Box and  www.luckyscent.com   The full-sized product sells for $90 on either site.  You can also purchase a sample of this for $4 from Lucky Scent.  I seriously see this as being the second perfume I will buy myself in my adult life, and I'm 37 years old!  How odd that I received this on a Tuesday!

Leila Lou Roll On by Rosie Jane
Leila Lou Roll On by Rosie Jane ~ Leila Lou - it's just fun to say!  As I opened my Little Lace Box, I was greeted by this scent.  It's made in California with a blend of the finest essential oils.  Rosie Jane Johnston is a makeup artist who created a fragrance for her own personal use.  It was loved by so many, she decided to market it and named it after her daughter.  This scent is very fresh and clean; it has notes of pear blossom, fresh cut grass, jasmine, and tangerine.  Customers can purchase candles, moisturizer, Eau de Parfum, and shower gel in this scent as well.

Soapbox Soaps Black Soap
Black Soap from Soapbox Soaps ~ ($4.99) This soap is made with ingredients that improve the health of your skin.  It smells wonderful, is 100% natural, palm oil free, cruelty free, vegan, gluten free, and made in the USA.  Ingredients include: olive oil, coconut oil, soybean oil, corn oil, organic shea butter, sea salt, activated charcoal, and essential oils.  The charcoal and sea salt exfoliate your skin, while the shea butter and oils restore moisture.  This company has a great mission to provide soap, water, and vitamins to those in need.  For every bar of soap purchased, one bar is donated.  Soapbox also donates water and vitamins based on the sale of other products.  You may be able to find this soap at Target.

Gretta Scarf by Graymarket Design
Graymarket Design Scarf ~ ($45) This scarf is from designer Hallie Gray's business, Graymarket Design.  The fabric is 32 x 80 inches of luxurious, soft, gauzy cotton.  I received the "Gretta" scarf, which is hand-block printed with non-toxic AZO-free dyes.  I love how this scarf will coordinate with just about anything!  To care for this block printed piece of art, machine wash cold and dry on low heat or air dry.

Red Leaf Bubble Bath Dough
I purchased a one-year subscription for $384.99 and got 20% off that total.  As a thank-you for my order, I received this Bubble Bath Dough by Red Leaf ($4.50).  Bubble bath dough has the texture of play dough, yet makes tons of bubbles that last throughout your entire bath!  This product is available in a variety of scents.  The Oatmeal, Milk, & Honey fragrance is yummy!  If you are not a bath person, you can use this in the shower as a cleaner and exfoliant.  Red Leaf offers natural, handmade, vegan products from Seattle, WA.

I came home from work today in the worst mood.  Receiving my Little Lace Box, completely brightened my spirits and released my tension.  I ABSOLUTELY LOVE this box!!!!!  I can't believe I found a fragrance that doesn't give me headaches or makes me sick.  Hopefully, LLB will continue to send quality products in the upcoming months.  Please leave a comment and tell me your thoughts about this new box.

A monthly subscription is $39.99, which includes free shipping.

Little Lace Box

Correction:  I originally posted that this was the Little Lace Box September shipment, but I was wrong.  After speaking to the company, I found out that this is actually the August box.  September's box will begin shipping on the 22nd of the month.
